Our independent quoting service is designed for property owners who have concerns about an insurer’s proposed scope of works or repair costs and would like an experienced builder to independently review the available information and provide a detailed quotation.
Our desktop assessments are based on the information, photographs, documentation and remediation reports provided by the client. Where required, we can also work alongside trusted remediation partners when remediation works are required before or as part of the building repairs.
Our aim is to provide clients with an independent building perspective, clear pricing and a practical pathway from assessment through to repair.
Independent Insurance Quotation
For clients requiring an independent insurance repair quotation, Smart Building Repairs offers a desktop quotation service for $1,100 including GST.
The service includes:
- Review of client-provided information and photographs
- Review of remediation reports and supporting documentation
- Preparation of a detailed building repair quotation
- Quoted from current market pricing
- Up to two revisions based on additional information or changes to the scope
As this is a desktop quotation service, pricing is based on the information and documentation provided by the client. A site inspection is not included.
If additional investigation, site attendance or other services are required, these can be discussed and quoted separately.
